Why doesnt lifesteal show up

Anyone know why the lifesteal spell doesn't show up in game when you give it to a unit? The effect works but why doesnt it show up?

Its just doesnt show. And there's no way to make it show.
BUT
You could make an dummy ability, that tells the effects of that lifesteal

Or use the vampiric aura and set it to 0 in radius (or 1 if 0 turns out to cover whole map).

Add Aura of Blight (to the unit with Lifesteal) and do the necessary changes in the Object Editor.

Or a Vampiric Aura with 1 radius like Masken suggested...

though vampiric aura doesnt work on ranged units... anyway if its melee then its fine... you can also set the target to just self if you dont want to set AOE to 0... ^^
