why am i disconnected so often on battle net

yeah basically i get disconnected (the link light on my modem goes out and i cant access internet for like 15 seconds) like once an hour when i play wc3 on bnet, my internet never disconnects when i doesnt play wc3... i assume there is no solution to this though

Well, yeah.. the patch is kicking me off BNet after each game, though never while playing a game, so I got no trouble with it.. except when there's an ListChecker host and BNet stil recognizes my IP as in use when I try to log back in.. don't know for how long.

well i've also been disconnected far before the new patch, would it help only joining games hosted with lc or vck?

Playing games that are hosted with VCK, contradictory to your plan, often results in disconnection from BNet. I have experienced the same with LC. In fact, BNet hosted games (no third party tool) are the only games that I have never experienced being kicked from BNet after finishing or during play.

The patch however, seem to kick you off BNet upon random occasions, given you are not in a game, then you will not be kicked.

I have not been in a chat channel for more than 20 minutes without being kicked off BNet after the patch. After each game I am kicked off BNet, and if not immediately, the next time I open Game List to enter the GN.
