What do you think are the the most important things when reviewing a map? What main things should be reviewed?

Oh yea I should have told more. I'm making a questionnaire.

Ok so far I've these:

• Terrain
• Story
• Game play
• Cinematics
• Atmosphere

If you wanna list them in a specific order:

• Gameplay(+originality)
• Terrain
• Story
• Polishing(tooltips, overall presentation of the map = colors, etc.)
• Other(Cinematics, camera work)

Although again it would be a matter of opinion, some people care more about the terrain than the gameplay.

Okay, so you five things. I think I'll be needing more. I think 8 things could be good. Hmm that "other" category is a bit bad and should be improved...

Oh yea and the game is about a singleplayer RPG so a lot of cinematics and stuff.

Oh well then in that case

• Gameplay
• Terrain
• Story
• Cinematics(Camera work, etc.)
• Atmosphere(Fog, weather, sound effects)
• Imports(~SP, so no limits)
• Presentation(Loading screen, text color, spell tooltips)

Also are you talking about the Chosen Ones?

don't forget about the replay value and triggering management, and don't comment about triggers if your not actually opening a map, if in that case, explain on about the leaks such as lag, late responses, and crashes
