Today my topic will not be about any of my concerns or troubles with the hive so you can already cheer up  This time I would like to discuss the way you review. The main thing I want to focus on is:

Do you prefer to write lenghty and informative reviews or you'd rather write concise and still informative-enough reviews?

I'm asking this question because I've seen that among all you reviewers, I am the one that writes the shortest reviews usually and I don't know if I should extend my reviews or keep them as they are.

For me personally, a proper review just gets longer.

I rate every section separately and in each section I point out good/bad things. And maybe even throwing in my own (more personal) opinion in there sometimes.
Doing that usually gets me at least 3 rows per section. I don't really know if that's a lot though.

I think short but informative reviews aren't bad. But it often leaves room for questions.

-The terrain needs work
vs
-I think the terrain needs work in several areas. The terrain reminds a lot of the default campaign/melee maps which is quite bad in a RPG map. There is a lack of dooads overall. You could also benefit of changing the default tree models with default ones. The harbor in the southern part of the map should contain more water-y environmental decorations too. Lastly, the tiles are really sharp and don't suit well together.
However, due the Blizzard like terrain some users feel pretty comfortable while playing the map since they're used to that type of terrain. I also very much like how you've created the mines in the northwest region.

I agree. And I hate when I see someone saying things like: "The terrain needs more work, fix it" or "Needs more decorations", and they call it a review. There are no specific information given. As you can imagine, the new map makers would need more specific info on what exactly to improve, and where their maps lack the most.
If you're just telling someone his map sucks, you're not helping him.

So, yeah, I prefer longer reviews.
