what to do if hotkey does not work ?

-___- its so unbelievably annoying... it has happened to me quite often and i never knew what do. nowadays i always use a "Y,X,C,V" layout for the spells of my heros therefore i can not simply use another hotkey.

is there a solution for this ? i mean object editor gives correct hotkey, and all hotkeys work in the map except one. there are no overwriting buttons. absolutely none. smells weird to me.

any help :0 ??

Yes, the Y and Z keys are swapped depending on where you live / get your PC from.

Main land europe is "YXCV" and "RTZUI".
UK and US is "ZXCV" and "RTYUI".

Order is left to right.

Thus you will probably find that your keyboard configuation option has been accdently changed (some hotkey set does it) and thus you are pressing "Z" and not "Y" and thus not activating the spell. As a matter of maximum compatiability and fairness, it is recomended to avoid using the Y or Z keys entirly as otherwise it gives people with different keyboard standards an advantage or disadvantage.

yep i know about that. sadly its the "C" hotkey that does not work...

Is it with only 1 ability or with all abilities using "C"?

just 1 ... a custom ability based on thunderclap... "learn" hotkey works, but not the spell itself.
