" ... " the ' A unit begins casting an ability ' and ' A unit begins the effect of an ability '. I see many people using the 2nd one. Why? Is it a better way of triggering? A proish way? A less leak way? Why, why?
Begins casting; mana has not been spent, cooldown has not started. Animation hasn't started.
Starts the Effect of; mana has been spent, cooldown has triggered. Animation is starting.
People use Starts the Effect of because abilities made with Begins Casting are abusable; if you JUST start casting an ability then press Stop before cooldown/mana are spent, Begins Casting will fire but Starts the Effect of will not (good thing).
