what happens now that EU have set an age limit

Since when does Europe have any power on the Internet ? Nobody cares except the biggest companies who could see some of their income sucked by the stone-age leaders of EU.
 
it is true that a website is subject to the laws in the country in which it operates but, EU also have control over their ISPs and can as such demand that they block a website that fails to abide their laws.
They can, but by the time they do we will all be old men/women.

how is that different from facebook?
