[Trigger] What are these Ubersplats?!

Every time i open the Trigger editor, i wander what are these "Ubersplats"...

Can someboy, please, explain me what are ubersplats and why/how should i use them?
I would also like a demo map with some ubersplat effects...
The name : Ubersplat makes me think it is a huge splat, like an explosion, isn't it?
Please, help...

can someone tell me what this trigger does do? i know its in german but it shouldnt be to hard to get the meaning of the trigger - important is the ubersplat line - since the trigger is very simple

vercas,for example you can create a spot of other tileset. Like that:

• Ubersplat - Create ubersplat at (Center of (Playable map area)) of type Lordaeron Summer Plain Dirt Small with color (100.00%, 100.00%, 100.00%) with 0.00% transparency. Disable paused state. Disable skipping birth time.
