Im currently programming a website and I'm curious what ralle uses to write the javascript while editing the site. (I usually just write it in notepad and it becomes a pain having to find all the errors by hand) Anyway, I was just wondering if there was a program he uses to write the scripts, and if so what is it?

Ralle writes in PHP, not javascript, as that's what this site is entirely based around. I'm not sure what he uses, but I would definetly recommend Dreamweaver by Macromedia as it is the greatest.

Ralle writes in both javascript and PHP.

As for the editor he uses, I'm not sure.

I personally use Dev-PHP for PHP code, and notepad for javascript. In Linux, I generally use vi, but sometimes GEdit.

Other than that, I'm not sure what to suggest.

:O I didn;t know that he wrote java... very cool, that's a Canadian invented language you know But as I said, if you have the money, Dreamweaver is about the best that you can get.

I am not using java.. I use Javascript. two different languages..
I program in PHP and Javascript. I always use Notepad2 (google it)

I have dreamweaver (1337) but I hate it.. I uninstalled it and deleted it.. In my oppinion notepad2 is the best..

Ah, thanks ralle. . Yea i was looking through the code u used for the resource section. Its a mix of php and Javascript for uploads. Very nicely done too. I just cant seem to find the place where you declared the location for the uploads to be stored.

I have Dreamweaver MX, and I think thats its a very good program, and was especially useful to me when I first started making web sites.

But the MX versions are so old I used to have Flash MX, now I have Flash 8. Yay! And now Macromedia is owned by Adobe :\

Well, Thar and There are two very seperate realities (seperated by the laws of quantum physics, I mean being different dimensions and all) so, you should really specifiy:

Notepad beats anything hands down. Errors are a great way to learn the language ;P.
