Weather not Showing Up

Given the code below, what would make the weather not appear for the entire map?

It should be correct. Is the function ever called?

a. The graphics setting is set to low.
b. 'LRaa' could be an invalid object id.

Not entirely sure though...

Both are correct, and the function is being called. I have it fixed now, though the code doesn't change. Rather odd. I know the thread was still executing past those lines because of later actions still occurring. 'LRaa' is the correct code for rays of light.

So what was the mistake? I just tested the code like you posted it first and it worked for me.

I'm curious then.

I am quite unsure, as those lines of code failed when in main(), but now that they are called in a different function they seem to work fine.

Maybe they need to be created post loading like some handles (dialogs?).

Weather can be created within main(), it is how the editor creates the global weather effect.
