Weapon special effect attachment???

i've been trying to add a weapon model to a unit.. i've done the first basic stuff.. but it doesnt work.. anyone know how to make it.. the hard thing is that the map is multi RPG and many heros my have the same item and for that i need and arry.. any ideas or anyone wanna tell me how to make the trigger?

You know the sphere ability for the blood elf hero dude?
yeah, use his ability, mess around with it, have hands or whatever for tha attatchments and change the model of the sphere to a sward or sumthing. .. .

... then add it to a items ability or sumthing., make multiple for one item.. see how that works... corse it usually has to eb their one hand they dont attack with it attaches too.
