wc3 Newgen for Windows 7

I just got Windows 7 and I downloaded Newgen. However, when I open it it just goes to a normal TFT world editor?
I tried to going to other fourms but they don't help

Anyone help??

I think its a w7 problem... someone also posted about NewGen not working on w7...

I had the same issue.

What happened to me is I had to move around my files a bit.

Just kinda messed with it a bit till it allowed me to open newgen, when I DID open newgen, it looked like reg Blizz editor, cause everything "special" about it was turned off. JassHelper, USMWE, etc., all turned off.

Make sure you have the lists at the top. And turn them on if you do. Then restart it, and it'll work.

It annoyed the living crap out of me for a while.

Mind you, I haven't updated NewGen in a few years, lol.

Newgen does work on Windows 7.

Make sure your anti virus is not blocking / removing it. It also only works with an old version of the WorldEdit.exe. Additionally you need to update jass helper.
