Wav custom unit sounds

Are they still not working? I'm using version 1.27 and I'm trying to figure out why replacing the unit sounds with custom ones don't work.

Using .wav and doing everything properly, yet to no progress.

Try converting them to MP3s and renaming as WAVs in the import manager, it's quite frequent that WAVs just won't work

I solved it. To anyone who's struggling-

I used format factory, you need to set the sound to a mono channel and lowest quality. (this won't ruin the sound btw at all)

Then export.

This will solve the problem, the reason it doesn't work is it can't process the file properly since it's stereo channeled and high kbps, which the editor just can't handle for some reason.
