Water color after loading game

Hello, we all know that the color of the water changes back to its original color whenever we load a saved game.
I made this trigger, it seems to always work perfectly.
  • Water
    • Events
      • Time - Every 0.50 seconds of game time
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Environment - Change water tinting color to (40.00%, 0.00%, 0.00%) with 0.00% transparency
Do you think it leaks or causes any problems?
Is there a better solution to keep the water color as desired after loading a saved game?
 
The periodic event wouldn't leak, but it would unnecessarily contribute to performance loss if you have a lot of other periodic events happening. It's a shame that environmental changes like water color reset upon game loading, but at least the event exists to correct it.
