So I opened up this model in the Magos, thinking I'd be dissappointed. How could I not? It's a 63kb model with a 19kb portrait. I don't sweat textures cause they can be reduced to about 20~30% compression with little visual loss cause of the camera in WC.
I was amazed to see such a beautiful and well done model with such a small file size. How has no one seen this and given it director's choice?
I think the only thing you need to do is compress the .blp to about 20~50%, and reupload under the name Harpy. Then provide the high quality skin through PM and you'll have a model with a huge download rate, more credits in maps, and more +rep.
I think what could turn off many modifiers though is the fact that the texture is funky. The overlay in it prevents you from modding the skin, thus preventing reskins of the model or changing the texture to a more reasonable size. I'd say it's 50/50 that you either are using a program or method that's unique to normal modding, or you've gone out of your way to protect your texture, though loosely.
I still have to test it in game btw.
