Features
- 25 or 50 Levels:
At the start, the host chooses the amount of stages to be played which is either 1 or 2.
- 3 Gamemodes:
The host is able to choose from three Gamemodes. This sets the difficulty for the whole game.
- 232 Towers:
Combining the best and innovative towers of the existing Mauls plus adding new races, such as the Elements and the GreenTD Race, WarCraftMaul spans a wide variety of towers.
- 21 Races:
The whole diversity of WarCraft Maul NeXtGen is wrapped in 21 different races, each one holding it's own weaknesses/advantages
- Interest System:
The interest system is a simple addition to give you extra gold every 30 seconds
- Secrets:
This map offers various secrets to discover - find them, use them and have fun.
- Aura Fields:
There are different auras around each new level (randomly spawned over the map) influencing the creeps and/or your towers' behaviour.
As each aura has a certain effect, prepare to encounter challenging moments..
- Flexible CPP:
CPP means Creeps-per-player. If a player leaves, his spot will be automatically deactivated to balance the ongoing of the game.
- Balancingsystem:
The latest addition is the balancingsystem, bringing in new levels of dynamics to WarCraft Maul NeXtGen. The hitpoints of creeps will vary from less to greatly depending on the current lives and the skill of players.
The FAQ:
Q: Why can i only choose few races, not as mentioned 21?
A: When you selected the wisp, click on the Symbol showing a dark orb to change to the other races. Click on the bright orb to revert to its original form. Same goes with the ultimate wisp(s)
Q: How can i get the "hidden" race?
A: If you pick a random race, you get a 9% chance to play it..
Q: How does the interest system work?
A: If you have at least 100 gold spare, you get a certain percent of the gold you have when the timer runs out. The amount you get depends on the difficulty you choose. Note, that you can get a maximum of 50 gold per interest.
Q: What's so special about the ultimate towers?
A: They deal massive amounts of damage. Most of them do 150000 damage, but not to every single enemy in range, but 150000 divided by the amount of enemies in range.
Q: How does the stats-system work?
A: The red bars show the actual amount, the race contains and the white stripes (if any) show the maximum.
Q: What are normal stats for the races?
A: | | | | | - means low values
| | | | | - means normal values
| | | | | - means above normal values
| | | | | - means high values
| | | | | - means very high values
Q: What are the symbols on the ground?
A: Those are special auras. Each has a different effect on either creeps or towers. Find out yourself which aura spans which effect.
Q: This map sucks. My race is too weak, the Alchimist can't transmute every single creep/boss, Ultron is gone, Animals suck.. what now?
A: Simple: avoid this map because obviously, it's too hard for you :>
Q: What's with Bosses?
A: While normal creeps only steal one gold, the boss takes it all. So, if you let one boss reach the gold mine, you lose
Q: Why is there a food-limit and why did you choose 76?
A. The food-limit shall prevent at least a part of the lag whoich is caused by the amount of towers being on the map in lategame. The number 76 is simple to calculate: 75 'normal' towers + 1 ultimate
Q: What's the number in brackets in the multiboard next to the mode?
A: That's the current difficulty based on the mode you've chosen. It ranges from 0 to 400%
Q: What are the numbers in [brackets] when I look at a towers' stats?
A: The numbers in brackets are the values for air. If there are no brackets but the tower has an anti-air attack, the attacks share one value
