Hello, fellow Warcraft fans.

My name is Max. I create custom campaigns for Warcraft III. As for now, there are five campaigns, together they’re called Warcraft III: Legacy, because I luv me old school RTSs. And I’m happy to introduce my projects here. Here they are:

1. Warcraft III: Origins - a remake of Warcraft: Orcs and Humans. Cutscenes, voice acting, different sub factions – everything you need.

2. Warcraft III: Remembered - a remake of Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness. A “near exactly” (© Jayborino) remake but with creative liberties: Dwarves, Trolls, High Elves and even Goblins as playable sub factions, overpowered spellcasters and artillery and sea combat.

3. Warcraft III: Remembered – Expansion – this one has nothing to do with Beyond the Dark Portal. This is my own level pack, where you play for the Dwarves, High Elves etc. It’s not a whole campaign. Yet.

4. Remembered Classic – just in case Blizzard drops another update that will cause crashes and graphical issues – I have the whole Warcraft III: Remembered (the Expansion included) done for the classic graphics. Yep. Because I gave up on having to fix project after every single patch!.. Jesus Christ…

Have fun, kids! :peasant-cheers:

If you mean my Warcraft III: Remembered project, the differences (comparing to Warcraft II: Remastered) are:
  • Optional objectives - complete them, and you will receive a useful bonus on the next level,
  • Three difficulty levels,
  • Extra units and abilities,
  • Enhanced layout of the original maps,
  • Some levels have new objectives or conditions,
  • Dwarves and High Elves as playable factions,
  • Hand-drwn loding screens and icons illustrations,
  • Small qualitiy of life improvements (like unit queueing).
The Orc Campaign is here:

For Orc Campaign any chance a mission a baatle inside Tomb of Sargeras too ?

Wonderful. Feels nice to find such a comprehensive post with all of your works. I will start going thru them slowly now.

Do the Origins campaigns work in Reforged graphics as well, or only classic? :(
They automatically launch in classic graphics. Because the Reforged one caused game breaking bugs. I can't have to fix it after every Blizzard patch released. Remembered is my priority here.

But, I'm working on a new Remembered update. There will be a little somthing connecting Origins with Remembered! ;)

Oh... auto launch in classic... but is there a way to force Reforged graphics? I really don't like graphics from a quarter of a century ago... But hey that's just me. Just wondering, is there a way?

Yes, there is:

1. Open the World Editor.
2. Open the Campaing Editor (F7).
3. Open the campaing (usually it's here: C:\Users\PC\Documents\Warcraft III\Campaigns).
4. Right click on a map -> Edit Map.
5. While in the map go Scenario -> Map Options.
6. There you have to check "HD" in the "Supported Mods".
7. Save the map.
8. Do this to every single map in the campaign.
9. Enjoy.

Don't forget: new units' 3D models will remain classic loocking.

Good luck and have fun. Let me know, if it's gonna work.

I am curious, how does this differ from other existing remakes? I have been meaning to delve into the Warcraft I and II remakes but there are just so many to choose from lol, notably:

LordPerenolde II's Warcraft I and II remakes
Chronicles of the Second War campaign
and Warcraft III Remembered + Origins

Can anyone tell me what's the difference between these?

That's the best question I've ever got! So, I'm gonna answer it gladly.

Warcraft II:

1. LordPerenolde II's Warcraft II remake is absolutely the best. It's just peak Warcraft II gameplay: tons of different subfactions, gameplay mechanics etc. There's even two ways to play every mission: with classic or enhanced mechanics. This was my main source of inspiration to be honest. And I seriously don't think that anyone will ever make something better than that. The only drawback I can mention is the outdated graphics. It looks a bit raw sometimes, but it's fine by me.

2. LoreCraft Designs' Warcraft II remake does for real time strategies what Peter Jackson's "Lord of the Rings" did for the whole film industry. It's the best way to get acquainted with the story, characters and universe of World of Warcraft. Artistically and storywise it exceeds not only expectations from a custom Warcraft III campaign but other strategies as well. I'm being dead serios here. It's Battle for Middle Earth level. Gameplaywise it offers different mechanics as well, but for my personal taste many missions feel too long and a bit overloaded.

3. My Warcraft III: Remembered... Well, my goal was to make an almost exact Warcraft II remake with all its benefits and drawbacks (absolutely overpowered magi with insane range of casting, slow and deadly catapults etc.). There are some artistic changes (Dwarves and Elves as playable sub factions) though and no oil. There is also an expansion, which contains extra missions for sub factions.

Warcraft I:

1. LordPerenolde II's Warcraft I remake, just like his own of Warcraft II, offers you two ways to play it: the exact classic way or the challenging and engaging enhanced way. The enhanced one (or the hard mode) gives you additional quests, gameplay mechanics and challenges. Caution: it's very hard. The only drawback I personally see here: the map design looks awful, yet faithful to the original.

2. LoreCraft Designs' Warcraft I is still under development (State: June 2026). But I expect this one to be the same glorious project with tons of details and variety.

3. My Warcraft III: Origins. My goal was to create something between the Lord Perenolde II's project and LoreCraft Designs' creations. This means: a lot of gameplay variety (subfactions, new units, spells, mechanics etc.), plot (fully voiced cutscenes) and even heroes (only on last levels), but not overloaded and kept relatively short. As Mister Deepstrasz said "One of the best first Warcraft game/orc campaign (rather) remakes around..."

Please, don't forget two things:

1. It's just my humble but honest opinion.
2. My Warcraft III Remembered project is still in development (State: June 2026). I'm planning on something new, so stay tuned.

Yours sincerely,
Max

This is such a wonderfully detailed reply and exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much <3 Even though this made it even more hard to choose for me because they all sound so amazing. Only way to know is to try them all out I guess hehe.
