Warcraft Classic HD | Poll: Texture Paths

No paths VS Full paths

I've been on the fence about this long enough to find out how to make polls on Hive. Though I post assets as separate bundles, Warcraft Classic HD is supposed to become a mod, or an archive, to be precise, that you unpack into game folder as local files. They replace the assets ingame without replacing the actual files in the folder. For that purpose, I preserve the folder structure, which naturally results in longer texture paths, just like in the original models. For example: Buildings\Undead\SlaughterHouse\SlaughterHouse.blp

Right now, before I post an asset, I cut the paths, leaving just the texture names, to make them easier to import into a custom map. However, I noticed that some people already revert them to their original, longer versions, which beats the point of me cutting them in the first place. So I decided to ask the community:

Should I post assets with texture paths removed or should I post assets with the full texture paths?

Honestly, I vote on keeping the full path. It is only when, for whatever reason, a user who downloads your assets decides to make them separate from the original model, they can change the directories/path themselves via RMS or some other.

A funny reason to do this would be, if the user makes a map and add your HD counterparts as an easter egg, as if it's a "glimpse" to a HD universe (ref. to GTA) and the lower poly units are self-aware that they are lacking a bit more detail on them.

Or vice versa - some Reforged mapmaker adds your Classic HD models somewhere to throw any player of the map off. I actually did that using the simpler modification of doodads uploaded here on Hive, like the Throne Doodad by @Retera that makes the Reforged version more aligned with the Classic original. But I don't do this anymore since I no longer play in Reforged that often.
