Warcraft 3 board game in Reforged?

Has anyone ever attempted to recreate the warcraft 3 board game in wc3?

I actually own a copy, it should be much easier to implement these days with all the custom UI support.

I've never played it (I never actually knew it existed until now, actually) but wouldn't it be a bit redundant to convert it to wc3 since it in itself is just the opposite (wc3 converted into a boardgame)?

It plays muchhh different.

I believe a hexagon ubersplat, a few simple blender made models, and some simple UI and it would be mostly there.
