why reject it? He made a wc3 version of it. Misha and I both did a similer thing with the Naga Lord model, though we edited the myrmidon to create the effect instead of rigging and animating the new model. In my opinion, this model is perfectly fine. It isn't a rip from wow, as is obvious from the lower poly count, so, I don't see what the problem is. :/

On one hand you can say, "What harm is there in it?" and I'll agree, because, in the end, these resources are just for some public maps that we play for fun. No profit is being made, and if the creator here optimized WOW models, giving them working team color and everything... there really isn't harm in that.

But on the other hand, you have someone who's stealing another person's work and then editing it, then claiming it as if it were his own. I've downloaded this model and will keep it if I ever need to use it, but it's wrong to allow the author to take credit for something that isn't his.

It's sad, because this author was also making a rather awesome tauren model. What a waste.

I thought he was just recreating the model, but for wc3... how can you prove it is a rip from WoW?
