Want to create some bossfights but how??

Hi All

I want to create some bossfights. but can only make a long and boring bossfight. My dream fight is to get the boss using some spells like blizzard or bladestorm, but i dont know how to do this, i cant make a trigger, that works. if someone know how to do, i would be really happy for a good reply and maybe an example...
