Walkable doodads question:

So i just found out that by basing a doodad off of an elevator and changing its model, the unit will be able to walk on top on this doodad in game.


Other than having to customly path it via pathing blockers, does anyone know if this could create any complications in game? or has anyone tried?

the reason you can do that is the pathing texture on the elvator is pretty much a solid walkable path. so you could replace it with a grunt for all it cares and it would allow you to walk over him like nothing. And know it shoulden't cuase any troubles maybe with the exeption units may not like to auto-path it.
