Uhm aloha, Well Im making a map of a instance that's from wow called Icecrown Citadel and I today I heard that it's illegal to copy blizzard things, and I where like woot? I cant even get close to the real of it with the units and world editor will never be the same anyway? And it's a program to create own maps about the game and the lore? Geez so I been use google the whole day to find a real answer, and I found something about it's diffrent companys and bla bla and you are not allowed to copy blizzards lore etc, or take the names of it?

As so far this map is incompleted, and I have release it yet and it's only me who have it atm so?

Thanks for reading this wall of text :) I might have spell wrong something but I hope you dont bother to much .)

You are fine to use lore from pretty much anything in your map - it's a wc3 map, not a product thus they're fairly unregulated. On Bnet really most things will go unpunished, from model rips to use of copyrighted music.

-On THW however you cannot submit any resources ripped from a game or that sort of thing.
-You are clear to use lore from other things or even edit the lore of something else to use in your map (no one's going to make a big deal about the story really as long as you openly say your inspiration)
-I'm not sure, but I believe a map may still be accepted if it includes ripped models or that sort of thing - but it often doesn't happen (most competent mappers use custom models of the site instead of looking to other games for their resources, which are also normally unfit for wc3).

Well the rules are a bit vague, but here's the map resource FAQ:
