Void Drake (Texture Contest) (Texture)

Assets
You can see the energy on this one!
While I definitely like the idea it feels too much like a recolour rather than original drawing.
Yes the redrawn hexagen scales follow original model despite being drawn from scratch. The blue parts were meant to have lightning too but felt like that color choice is poor in this instance. So I draw wings first, then duplicated other parts from this and pasted them to fit the original style that had these parts in orange color

If you look at the head the blue parts are saturated and have different tone in comparison with the wings.

Rather than that there are no parts in original texture on the body and head of the drake.

It's a good recolor, but I think you could enhance the effect you're going for with more vibrant colors. I'm not talking about saturating them, but rather highlighting the electric effects on its face and back. You could also make the teeth lighter. Overall, I think it's fine, but adjustments can be made to improve it. It could work as a variant of the Nether Dragon or a Void creature.
