Ok so im reading the tutorial here http://www.oinkerwinkle.com/tools/tutorialnelamp.html and i get to the end and it says "Close the vertex modifier and open the MDL. Look for the following section." What does it mean open the MDL?
I'd just like to point out that if the mdl file was in binary form, you wouldn't be able to understand the contents, they'd be displayed like: #!@#$!@#% throughout the file. mdl is in text form, which allows people to easily edit it from notepad and such.
