UVW Unwrap and Other Questions

Yes Mechanical, I did look at Mago's modeling tutorial. Its also very difficult to UVW wrap on Gmax because you use .bmp files to wrap the image. Then you have to re-texture it in something else. Either way, its just a headache.

Thanks HT, I'll look into milkshape. I believe I had it at one time.

Edit: Hey HT, do you need an exporter script for Milkshape?

Also, do I need to purchase a lisence for milkshape? It says it has a 30 day trial.

Milkshape costs $/€25.

This is an awesome price for what you get.

WC3Campaigns.net is currently down, but housed in a sticky in the MDL editing section is Guesst's exporter -- which does flawless animation, geometry, etc export. There will always, at least for fully animated models, be the slight need for twiddling in programs such as Magos' Model Editor.
