Using Advanced Keyboard controls

Here goes, i've read somewhere in a topic (can't find it anymore...) that f1, f2, f3 and f4 can be used for commands, as an event.

does anyone know? the only one i know about is escape, with if player skips a cinematic thing...
but i need f1~F4
