Upgrade 'Ability Level Bonus' Issues

First off, I understand that I can trigger this, but I'm trying to keep it simple.

I'm attempting to use an upgrade to level up a unit ability I've created, but I can't seem to get it to work. The ability remains the same level every time the upgrade is researched, and I can't seem to get it to work correctly. I've attached two images showing my upgrade and the ability. Both have 30 levels.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you list this as one of the upgrades used by the unit? (Under "ugprades used" at the bottom of the unit profile).

AAlso I don't know if this is for a hero or a basic unit but ability level upgrades are really screwy if used on hero's.

One way or another, use Upgrade as ILLUSION to our eyes
Meaning, use Upgrade, just for the click thing, after that, you're gonna trigger for yourself
Example:

• Upgrade Used
  • Events
    • Unit - A unit Finishes an upgrade
  • Conditions
    • (Researched tech-type) Equal to Fire Blaze - Level 2
  • Actions
    • Unit - Remove Fire Blaze - Level 1 from (Triggering unit)
    • Unit - Add Fire Blaze - Level 2 to (Triggering unit)

I had forgotten to add the upgrade to the Upgrades Used section of my unit, and now I feel foolish.

Wait, did you solved the problem without my solution (meaning you only followed Raven's solution and works)
Well if it didn't, my apologize for throwing useless solution =(

If the ability is for unit, it's different story
If it's for Hero, I think you're gonna need Triggers

I have a problem like this, I've created an ability called Multi-Guns which enables a tower to attacks more than 1 unit.

The ability only becomes available after the research level 1, it's OK.
The ability makes the tower to attack 2 units on level 1, doesn't work
The ability makes the tower to attack 3 units on level 2, doesn't work
The ability makes the tower to attack 4 units on level 3, doesn't work

The description of level up doesn't work if the tower is built, if no towers with the ability were made, then the 1st tower will have the description correctly.

The ability needs a research to be available, it's OK
The research has 3 levels and the description of each one is ok.

Can someone help me?

Give 3 levels to the ability and use the upgrade to lvl it up. Some abilities cnnot be leveled though, it simply doesnt work. in that case you have to use triggers.
