It looks like "The makeshift" right. We`ll be making something different (Just like those skies).

Yes, it's too flat and also there are much more possbilities for this to improve seeing most of the screenshots looks too empty. It would also be better if you are to place a sun or moon depending on your taste.

You can also maybe name this "Barren Palace or Castle"?

For a wip, it looks great to be honest and I wish to see more on this. +reps and good luck!

Maybe do something about the foreground?

Quick idea as to what you can do with the foreground.

Basically, make a cliff drop off right around where the orange line is, then have a staircase descending down into the abyss.
Maybe with a watch tower or something in the bottom right corner of the cliff face.

Background could be fine if you just continued the city theme through what the fog allows you to see.
And since I'm such a fan of stupid, random cliffs to take up space,
maybe add a mountain face on the right side of the mid ground that kind
of fades into the background - with a waterfall coming down into the city stream.

Note to everyone, Stryder is just being humble, I haven't touch the terrain yet and everything on the image is his work.

Anyway, nice start, I already have a few nice ideas to add on the terrain when I install my Warcraft 3 again.
