Using triggers, you just have to periodically change it's size (a little). For example, if you want to increases the unit size from 1.00 to 1.50, you can do it in 10 times, each increasing it by 0.05.

You need to store its size as a variable, and each time you want it to grow, you set the variable to the variable + the amount you want it to grow by, and set scale to the variable.

I advise learning your way around triggering before attempting to make a map. Variables are like variables from proper programming languages, they act as storage for computed values.
