Unit Flags and Pure damage?

Is there any way to make custom unit flags? I want to make the unit flag Creep which are the units that live in the jungle yet I want them to be separate from heroic units and regular units in regards to how spells effect them
I also want to add the flag Tower which would be structure units however certain spells can damage Tower units

Also since I did not like SC2's armor I did away with that and added the Armor attribute however is there a way to add pure damage that would be unmitigated by any Damage Response:Fraction

I already use the Melee, Ranged, Splash and Spell damage types so could I add another one called Pure?

You can not add new classifications. You can however add buffs which you can validate for the presence or absence and thus customize reponses of abilites.

No, but you can exclude certain specific damage effects from the damage response.

Will turning the damage type of range attacks into the type melee have any effect? If not I could just free the ranged damage type and use it as pure unmitigable damage right?
