underground area

what do you mean "only a part underground"? like you will go to a cave to enter the underground map and then switch to that underground area?

hmm. you can use the Camera - Set Camera Bound to limit the region played by a player to a part of the map. then you can switch between your overworld and underground regions.

1. You cannot go underground. That is impossible.

2. You cant have a roof. If you had a roof, you couldnt see anything at all because its an overview camera. If you had a roof but highup, it would seem like the sky.

read my post please. if your using a fps camera, which is the only way to create that, use the height feature on the object editor kthx

You can also import a custom sky art into your map with cave rocks instead of blue sky. Only problem is it would look like the cave you are in is absolutely ginormous. I would just use a barrens/dungeon style terrain type and arrange the terrain so it appears to be a cave and you could only assume there would be a roof. You don't actually need to see the roof to believe that one is there.
