Yes, using existing textures is a bit tricky but you save time and you get the right feel and color.
The ship in the screenshots is slightly upscaled, the base model is the same size as all other Battleships.

one question though...are you planning to make a Forsaken Battleship? when I saw the bfa forsaken battleship I started searching hoping someone was going to make a Warcraft 3 look alike lol
