Great recreation of a Beta model, the more undead-style variation is very cool too.

Noice, necromancer at that time was a hero though. Might have been a hero altar

Oh MAN I love when people re-create the old Beta stuff. On top of that, you picked a cool model that I could, potentially, totally see going in my Forsaken race. Verah Noice!

(If anyone gets bored & wants to retexture this to fit Ujimasa Hojo's Forsaken series, I won't complain... ;P)

Have you considered remaking the beta tauren totem as well? It would be a challenge as the only reference would be the icon itself.

Lovin' the new version! Fits much better for Forsaken, IMO. I'm a tiny bit iffy on the texture on the big rib-spikes, but it's overall really great!

I LOVE version 2. Reminds me a lot of Ahn'Kahet in WoW with the Faceless/Azjol Nerub stuff. Nice work!

Heh, I remember making a similar altar for an alpha recreation project a couple of years back. It used custom (edited vanilla) textures and had no animations though :D
Yours turned out way better, I especially love the ziggurat-textured one. 5/5
Here's a pic if you're curious what mine looked like :p
