Mass Effect
Well after playing one of those giant war maps were you build 500+ buildings and spam crazy amounts of units that lag the game to nothing, I decided to make this map.
After many years of peace and trading, both kingdoms had peace. Until now. After the assasination of both king's sons, fingers have been pointed, warriors have been trained. The final battle is about to begin. So raise your shields, sharpen your swords, and prepare for victory.
So for the begining I plan on having a cinimatic showing the assasinations taking place, and warriors being trained. Each player (May) have there own unique hero plus 2 normal heros(that they train if they choose). They shall all meet with the king and discuss war plans.
I'm thinking of destroying the food limite and repalcing it with a 250 building limite, so that there isnt 1000 building per player. I'll change the food buildings to lumber mills, so it seems better. Buildings will cost 1 food and some lumber, and towers will cost no food and more lumber. So it isn't just a "KILL KILL KILL" game, theres going to be a target that needs to be destroyed, probably a castle.
The hero max will be around 25. Units will have about 3 upgrades that help them, and the unigue heros will probably have their own spell books, feturing unique unit abilitys
Sor far this is coming along nicely, if I could get a team going with this, it would be even better. Right now I need a coder, becuase all I can do is make leaky triggers. A terrainer would be nice too, one that can keep it like it was peacefull, but still like there was a war going on. I can handle alot of the other things, and pitch in with terrain devolopment. I'll probably focus on how balanced it is and ideas to make it better
