UI help with selection console and unit icons.

Sry if this is in the wrong thread but i couldnt see anything that related particularly to UI. So my question is can you in the world editor and if not in there is there an third party programs were you can make the icons smaller to save space? For instance when you click on the altar of storms you can only fit like 12 icons in the screen in the bottom right and i want to add about 20 heros into that space. or when you highlight soldiers to fight for you it would be cool to fit more than 12 highlighted. hope that makes sense.

i guess you cant...

if you want to make your imported icons smaller in size you may use wc3 image extractor and save them in 20% quality... (guess thats not what you are asking)

Yeah not exactlly what im asking but that accually is useful information ill use thanks. If i can recall right i seemed to see in a footman war online when i clicked the hero place to buy my hero the icons were all about 50% smaller than the normal ones and there was about 23 heros but i could be mistaking. Ive thought about the fact i could extract the icon iteself from the file and make it smaller but i dont think thats the case i think probably somewhere in the data it has the information of how many icons can fit in the that portion of the UI.

no you can't put in more then 12, but you could make 11 heros in one altar, and add some kind of upgrade button, which upgrades the altar into another altar using the same model and 1 sec upgrading time and add the rest of your heros in that second altar. don't foget to make this second altar being able to be upgraded into the first again. hope that helped

Well thanks for all the feedback The upgradeable/downgradable altar would work decent as well i think ill use that for the time being, in the mean time im just going to make some custom buildings and add the other heros into that. The other thing that i found interesting is the witch doctors icon is much smaller than the normal icons and you can put the cordinates of where you want the icon in the UI so just scaling the icons in porportions allows you to cram a few icons into (0,0) although you cant see the pictures very well.
