Trouble with abilities

create a custom ability out of flame strike and go to Art target attachments set it to the imported model.target attachment points = origin,target attachments 1.

Ion cannon has a LONG charging time, even FS would not suffice... blizzard with a huge cast time can... (blizzards cast time is the interval on which every blizzard wave comes), then create a new effect based on the blizzard effect and use the ion cannon model there and be sure to set the number of shards to one

But there is one problem to this, your first blizzard wave will cause damage but then the ion cannon is still initiating... and your last ion cannon effect will not cause any damage...


my best recomendation would be to use triggers (even if you dont want to)...

Flame Strike's animation is (0.133 + 7.167) = 7.3 seconds to perform a complete Flame Strike animation
That Ion Cannon takes about 10-13 seconds to finish up the Birth and Death animation of it
In other words...
Trigger is the best way OR use another model
Ion Cannon model is MAINLY used for Nuclear Launch system, as it delays and deals up to X damages over an area

Right right... just fix the channeling time before the flame booms to ~10 secs and replace the model...
