So I have a file named "Main army map" where I hold all of my custom units for my developing project. When I exported the main Data from object editor before it worked once, I see a big file. With both the custom units I have and the imported models I used.

But now, I encountered a problem.

Every time I try to export my main data (Every time I make changes of it) from my main army map. It always shows that its a small file, thats I realized that my imported models and textures arent even in the newly exported file.

So every time I import this exported file into a new map the map only loads in the existing costum units I madd but it never imports the custom model my units us with.

Please I need help with this. Complex Problem Im facing.

I mean the unit data can be imported but their Custom model files I use for them dosent come along with them.

How do I export and then import both Custom units and models from one map to another?

In way yes. But its in the Object editor where I have all of my Custom units. And I want to know how to export them out as a file (Including their models I used for them). I tried both Export Unit and Object data but every time they only export the custom units and it dosent come with their custom models I have for them.

So the models and skins are in the Import Manager. Try exporting and importing those similar to how you did the Object Data.

Once they are imported, you will probably need to delete this part of the file name on models (.mdx) and skins (.blp):
war3mapImported\unit.mdx

Are there any custom buttons? those can be a bit more particular. For disabled buttons they need a specific file path.

Yes. I have custom buttons. So there is no other way to keep them intact? Or there is?

Its just I have so many and every time I import the files in the old fashion way. They always revert themselves back into war3maported.

I'm sure there is a better way but I don't know it. There a way you can reference custom assets in a local directory on your computer. I see some people post about it and it supposedly also solves some bugs. I think there is also some mass import feature. Anyway, I'm sure someone else will reply who knows how will reply.

In lieu of me being able to help, maybe these links can?
