Trouble Exporting <Gmax>

Ok so i was following the tutorial by Airhead, http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/3d-modeling-tutorials-282/gmax-exporting-tutorial-95857/
And i got to the converting from mdl to mdx, section 1.5 in the tutorial.
I tried to convert it using the MDLX Converter located here. http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/tools-560/mdlx-converter-62991/
