Maybe it's not a recolor,? He should have at-least made a high resolution texture for the frog, like 512x512 or 256x256.

Also, where is the face? Why is the skin so undefined? Why on earth would such textures be approved?

Why shouldn't it be approved? We all know that frog based skins were approved before; with good results as well.

@Windrunner29, I would use a bit of sharpen on it to give it more clarity since it's a bit blob-like.
Try to work more on the face, maybe give it a proper mouth.
Perhaps even giving it an exotic skin.

Back then resource rules were different. The skin - Lemming you showed me is 2x times better in quality than this. If we all started doing these types of texture edits it would flood the server with useless junk that probably nobody will ever use.

It's not one day that the skin is online, you can't just say that it's useless and that nobody will use it! If you don't like it, nothing force you to use it.

The texture on this is really bad, you need to improve this. Take the WoW Frog for example, take inspiration from it.

Ok people, here's my opinion, the frog is good as it is.
First reason: the model itself is extremely low quality
Second reason: texture is small as well, and it is meant to be that way..
Third reason: the model is a critter, which is not meant to be scaled to massive proportions
Fourth reason: Un-necessary amount of details will lag the game and render the skin even less useful
Fifth reason: You A-void, are being demanding and toxic about it.. and i already reported you on it :/

Why are you being so sensitive about this? Reported me for writing negative criticism? So there should only be positive criticism? You're a little paranoid about this, making a big deal out of this. This was already over, nothing serious.

If you see toxicity in negative criticism then I'm sorry for you. I wasn't rude or anything, I just said that this texture is awful. Then a conversation began on opinions. People see bad things where there are none just to get attention.

I don't see anything wrong with a very simple skin. If people will find it useful for their maps then why depriving them of such resource? I agree that the skin is extremely plain but it ain't a good reason to exclude it from the approved resources. People seem to like it and, in the end, the aim of custom resources is not satisfying moderators but satisfying downloaders (I apply the same logic when I moderate maps).
If I were a skin moderator, I'd approve this with no rating and drop some suggestions for improvements.

For such a small size this skin beats it, but I'd rather like to see you try to do different eyes. Frogs have the weirdo big eyes and that could make the frog look more appealing.

The execution is fantastical. If I remember correctly, the only thing that's even worse to skin than the frog is probably the Harpy texture. Good job!
