Creative process:
During creation I tried to give the icons a lore-friendly look and also took some advice on edits from such experienced Trolls as @Kyrbi0 and @frostwhisper.
"The red color stands out against the Trolls' skin color, they love it!" - one guy told me. He also told me that part of the haft should be visible. I also drew the rag from the Orc Rally Point banner, which adds a bit to a feeling of lore.
A darker blade with a weighted tip, some fur, a hanging white-black feather in contrast and a signature bluish backlight with haze, also affecting the blade itself - a good classic!
The chieftain's flaming spear with gilding and patterns - you can immediately see that it's expensive! A golden ring, some space for a haft and a fiery haze uneven around the edges - we honor traditions.
PREFACE
Two rules: tilt and perspective. All upgrade icons have this property! To make the Troll spears more distinct from the standard Orc upgrades, I changed the position and also "hung" the spears in the air to allow for various hanging Troll paraphernalia to be attached (I heard they like feathers, skulls and all that).
