Hurro peeps,
Some of you may or may not know that I'm working on a sideproject of mine, called Tribe TD.
The map is a Tower Defense Map, played the classic way of building towers around a fixed path enemy units walk down, playable from 1-4 players and features six different races with unique tech trees.
Now I had a friend play it and he found some bugs, namely
-you can block using storm spirits (solution: give locust which I didn't really want to do or have any entering unit turn around that is not owned by Player 5)
-High Elf attacks too fast (no more)
-a couple of minor bugs (yet have to fix them, mainly unnoticeable as they're related to coding)
Due to the fact that I'm apparently unable to play it alone in multiplayer mode, I can't assume that everything works 100% perfect for Players 2, 3 and 4 just since it does for 1.
Anyways, to cut to the point, I'd like to give you guys the opportunity do take part in this very young and hopefully somewhat innovative map I'm working on (again).
The process is simple:
1) throw suggestions, bugs and ideas at me
2) I run all the lists/points down
3) I implement the nicest ideas
Now, eg. I'm very sure that 6 races don't cut it on the long run, so I started doing the "Heroes" featuring a variety of controllable and levellable heroes, each benefitting of the respective abilities that were displayed in the original game (Thunder Clap, Trueshot Aura and others).
Also I'm positive that you people can make up inspiring ideas for more races (I can do a maximum of 20, see WCMNG), twists, active and passive abilites and challenges to keep the map even more enjoyable.
Tribe TD is extendable to up to 9 Players in total using that layout of pathing, so this might be an idea as well.
If all goes well, 1.0 will make a fantastic release for a 1.0 version - yay~
