It's all good right after I load the map, but once I scroll around for a while, most of my torches stop glowing (see the bottom torch in the screenshot).

I was wondering if anyone knows what could cause this?

The map's got 172 torches. Is there perhaps a limit to the amount of light sources?

It does have to do with positions. The few torches that do glow, only glow at that exact spot. Once I move them a bit to the left or right, they stop glowing immediately. It's really weird...

I know it'll glitch when there are too many light sources on one square of terrain, but even single torches won't glow.

Fixed the pic, by the way. x)

This is interesting. I have a smiliar problem:

Do you have any bigger lights on your map than the torches?
Because for me it works fine (even with scrolling), as long as all lights have the same intensity. (I have only 20 or so though)
If I add smaller lights, only those disappear after scrolling around.

//E: I found a good solution!
