topic title editing

well, im not sure if its a bug, maybe it was intended that way. but if you try editing your title on your first post when you make a thread, it doesnt change, it just changes the name of the topic inside the thread so from the index it still looks like the same name

are users supposed to be not able to edit the name of their threads? if not they should be!

Where the heck is the poll so I can vote for, "Yes, this feature would be most useful."
Maybe you can limit the number of times we can edit, or only edit within 5 minutes or so.
EDIT: Maybe a log if you're paranoid.

A vote could be usefull.

Good idea with the within 5 min edit, as normally you wont fix mod interesting post in 5 mins, first when a mod notice.

And that should also count for normal post, as spellfixing then might occur.

But problem is it would be some work for the admins to make.
