Shaun of the dead is a parody, and a funny one at that.

dawn of the dead was the original zombie horror thriller killer. it was a cult film which was up there in the ranks of the exorcist and omen when it comes to evil goings on and all that. there was also a recent remake. shaun of the dead is a british parody which is very very funny and based around some of the concepts in all those zombie films. i suggest you see them both for a killer thriller and a good chuckle.
