Tool deleting animations

Hello guys I'm in need of a tool that can delete uneccessary animation ( units animations that I don't need ) so that it will reduced the file size. I tried using mdvls but it errors and I need to install the latest directx or something like that,is there any other tool that can delete animations and doesn't error without installing something?tnx guys hope.
