I can't change your signature. That was an admin. Moderators do not have that kind of power, and even if we did, we would be in no position to abuse it.
I have no ill feelings against you, and obviously you took what I said the wrong way. By no means should you start questioning my ability to moderate a forum, nor should you start slagging me personally, just because you are upset. I'm arguing about something with you, and if you're going to insult me, AT LEAST BRING SOME FACTS TO THE TABLE along side them. I don't mind being insulted, but when you don't have anything to show for it, it just pisses me off.
My comment about communism being above you is 100% true. Anyone who uses the term 'communist' in a derogatory manner does NOT understand how the communist system works. It's unfortunate that propaganda has to spoil an opportunity for people to learn in an unbiased way about a legitimate philosophy. I don't pretend to be an advocate of communism. In the past, communist leaders (along with many other dictators) have brought great destruction to the world. This is NOT part of the communist manifesto, infact, military is nonexistant in a real communist society. Can such a society exist? I don't think so, because there will always be some other country out there to take advantage of it.
Communism is a utopia. A perfect society. I don't think it will ever be atainable (unless people can somehow rise above the corruption and greed that is naturally programmed into every person). It's not feasable, but it is still a proposed ideaology, and unlike fascism, the end goal isn't power and land and petty greedy things, the end is a perfect society, where no one has anything to fear, or to worry about. Everyone is taken care of, and everyone works for the good of the state in order to help make EVERYONE better off.
This sounds like the most selfless society ever concieved, a far cry from the world around us today, and does that really sound like something with evil intentions? Does making the common good your #1 priority make you an evil person?
I don't think so, but thanks to the last century, most of the western world does.
I was just angry that Communism was being thrown around in the wrong light. I did not mean that as a serious insult, nor did I intend it to be a slight against your intelligence, I merely stated that from what you have shown me here, you don't seem to understand the Communist system of government very well.
How this turned into a flame war and a personal bashing contest while I was away is beyond me.
I personally like the movie 300, I don't think the Communist system is evil, I don't think that The Last Istari is a moron, and I don't see how the topic went from discussing the movie 300 to questioning my capabilities as a moderator.

). this time i really looked out for the storyline as well as the action and the story isnt bad you know...its a pretty well rounded film with action and plot, even if it is altered slightly.
