[Aeon of Strife] Third-person AoS

I have this idea to create some sort of map that has third-person camera.

I often want to make a map that would resemble a Savage 2: Tortured Soul Experience. I believe warcraft is perfect for that.

Other than that, I am currently making a Pirates, Vikings and Knights like-map, again with a third-person camera. This is more of a hack-n-slash, an arena.

What do you think, are people really into playing maps that offer camera experience? So far nobody seems to care.

Lets put it this way, a first person camera system DO give you a better view and its really enjoyable together with nice terrain. The problem is that most camera systems like that can go through dooads and stuff wich is just annoying

Its actually interesting, but meh I already tried this one before and its hard to balance it with the terrain and some other gameplay mechanics.

Cameras that show a lot of terrain and doodads can lag a lot as well. I have a very good computer, but with fog and a distance horizon I get a lot of lag.

Actually there is a way to reduce that lag, that system will be feature on the next version of Gaias.
