Hey I am just messing around with a test map right now to see if I can code some basic spells to make either an AOS, RPG, or Hero Arena based on Guild Wars. Anyway I know in DOTA people are considered retards if they don't eventually buy a pair of boots.

I think this is pretty stupid so in my map, I will have all heroes at the same base movespeed (261). I just need to know what you guys think the bonus movespeeds should be to make the boots "nice but optional."

Right now I have the basic boots at 26 (+10%) and that's all they do

Advanced boots are either 26 (+10%) with passive armor and a short speed boost active spell, or 39 (+15%) with a short blink.

Here is the test map if you wanna mess around; I made a pretty cool system that lets your spells' damages be affected by a stat called "spellpower" (mostly based on INT but there are a couple +spellpower items). I think the -ms command is still bugged.

When I first saw the title, I laughed, thinking it was a map where you play a boot, having to fight other footwear such as shoes, sandals and stilletos while trying to rekindle your romance for Mrs Boot. But its not. Fair enough.

I prefer the latter (+15% with a short blink) to be honest.
