The Elven Nobles of D`or come from the line of Caledor, these noble elves were the first rulers of the high elf kingdom, and were renowned throughout the land as the greatest mages. In the lands of Aule Falas, the first king known as Falen Caledor, built the high elven tower of Caledor, and within this tower he placed the Staff of Stars, this magical artifact, powered the tower of Caledor, and allowed it to rain the very energy of the stars down upon the enemy.
The line of Caledor was also rumored to be not entirely elves at all but half elf half dragon, these are of course just rumors, and no evidence was ever found to give rise to this being truth. Although, the unnatural power for the Line of Caledor, to call upon the very energy of the stars to destroy their foes was a magical art none besides their line has mastered. So to some races they are known as Star Mages.
The Last of the Line of Caledor, Mithris Caledor escaped the fate of his people to become undying, and fled to the citadel of whiteshire, where he joined the ranks of Gurth'kano and Ashan to fight against what he believes are entirely corrupt elves, and demonic beasts. There are of course other refuges who managed to survive the fall of the high elf empire, among them was the grand advisor Culendel, who now serves his prince in exile.
